Girls help protect the planet

Guide, Brownie and Rainbow units from across Dundee County joined the Girlguiding UK campaign from September 30th – October 6th to help tackle plastic pollution.

Activities involved making Plastic Promises online, writing about our concerns to MSPs and MPs and learning more about plastic waste in our oceans.

Here is a selection of photos from various units across the county, including a shot from local paper The Courier, featuring the 31st A Dundee Guides:

As an extension of this campaign, the 2nd Monifieth Guides have been collecting crisp packets to help raise money for Helimed, and made key rings from some of the packets to remind girls to recycle.
