We’re all wondering what the new uniform will look like – why not share your guess and be in with the chance of winning a new uniform for yourself.

The winners will be those whose drawing is closest to the actual new uniform produced. So get thinking about the details there might be – items of clothing, colours, logos, pockets, piping, zips, buttons, cuffs, collars, shapes, styles.

 

What do we know already?

• Rainbows will have red as a colour, plus other colours of the rainbow including pink and blue

• Brownies will have brown and yellow as colours

• Guides, Rangers, Young Leaders and Adults will have different shades of blue

• There will be a t-shirt for all sections

• There will be a range of tops and bottoms for all sections

• Some items will say ‘Since 1910’ somewhere on them

Prizes

There will be a prize of two items of new uniform for the winner in each category: Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Young Leaders, Adult volunteers.

The winners in each category will be invited to attend a photoshoot in Dundee for PR purposes. A winner can nominate someone else to attend the photoshoot, if they are unwilling to have their photo shared – the nominated person will be lent new uniform for the photoshoot.  And if you’ve just “moved up”, eg from Rainbows to Brownies, we’ll lend you a uniform for the photoshoot and your prize will be the uniform for your new section.

 

Rules

The competition is open to all Girlguiding Dundee members – young members and adults.

The PR team and their families are excluded from entering.

 

A template is supplied for designs (see below).

Entries must be on A4 paper, and passed to the Dundee Guide shop before 2.30pm on Saturday 30th May 2026.

 

Judges decision is final.
