Roar & Explore

Around 350 of our Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and Leaders enjoyed a great day at Blair Drummond Safari Park as part of Girlguiding Scotland's Roar & Explore event.

They joined about 5,000 others from around Scotland and saw giraffes, zebras, elephants, tigers, penguins, lemurs and many more, had a safari drive to see the lions, rhinos, deer & monkeys (with 1 on the roof of the bus!), and watched the sea lions show off their skills.

The leaders had a fun day, and one made her promise at the event.

The girls also enjoyed the train ride round the island, the inflatable village, swan boats, the adventure playground and the petting zoo (lots of goats!). They didn’t let the rain showers put them off from seeing as much as possible.
