The 2nd Monifieth Guides spent an evening at Monikie Country Park, accompanied by park rangers. The girls helped rescue toads, frogs, and newts that were attempting to cross the road on their way to a nearby pond. The girls were able to help identify and count the amphibians before safely releasing them into the water. The girls' participation in community service, along with their enthusiasm throughout the evening, earned them their Biodiversity interest badge. Thank you to all the volunteers and to the Park Rangers who helped make this possible.
