Celebrating the King's Coronation

Girlguiding Dundee members across the County celebrated the Coronation and the Big Help Out in a variety of ways. Here are just a few:

34th Dundee Rainbows and Brownies had great fun making cards, decorating cakes and producing bunting and a giant art work for the hall. 34th Dundee Guides helped to put up the giant art then held a coronation tea party.

72nd Dundee Brownies made some lovely coronation crafts.

2nd Monifieth Guides held a "Bring Your Adult" night as part of the Big Help Out. They all cooked over fires and did a Taskmaster Coronation Activity.

73rd Dundee Rainbows made their own crowns for the Coronation, and heard a story about Winnie the Pooh meeting the King.

31st A Dundee Guides made postcards to send to care homes and posted them on a Post Box hunt - working out in which King or Queen's reign each one was constructed.

65th Dundee Guides held a Coronation tea party as part of their celebrations.
